 Introduction
 Process Of Communication
 Subliminal (History)
 Subliminal Communication
 Subliminal Tour
 Importance
 Conclusion
• Communication is information exchange between
two or more participants.
• It is a process by which meaning is assigned and
conveyed in an attempt to create shared
understanding.
• It takes place inside and between three main subject
categories: human beings, living organisms in
general and communication-enabled devices.
 Occurs at five levels: intrapersonal, interpersonal,
group, organizational,and intercultural.
 In 1957, ice cream ads were flashed onto the screen
during a movie showing that resulted in an otherwise
unaccountable increase in ice cream sales.
 In 1981 Dr. Norman Dixon summarized over 748
references on subliminal stimulation in his scholarly
book Preconscious Processing. Dixon provides a model
for understanding the flow of information and its
entry to consciousness.
 The prefix “sub” we know to mean “under” or “just
under” and the suffix “al” means “of” or “pertaining to”.
Combining these we get the straightforward
definition, “of or pertaining to that which is just under
the threshold.”
 Subliminal communication is strictly related to the
issue of mind control.
 Subliminal communication works at the subconscious
level because the subsconscious mind seems to accept
things without judgement. This is different from the
conscious mind which judges everything.
NBC’s logo is a forward-looking peacock that incorporates the six primary
and secondary colors in its feathers.
The six feathers symbolize NBC’s six divisions: News, Sports, Entertainment,
Stations, Network, and Productions.
Baskin Robbins offers 31 flavorous of ice-cream.
The number 31 is hidden in the logo within the letters of B and R.
 The arrow which looks like a smiling face in Amazon’s logo has another
meaning behind it.
It is a representation of the wide range of items available for retail by
Amazon, from A to Z
The FedEx logo looks simple and it’s hard to see what could be hidden within it.
But looking closely at the space between the ‘E’ &‘X’ in the orange Ex shows an
arrow pointing forward.
This arrow represents moving forward toward to the future.
There’s a bicyclist in that logo.
The motto of the advertisement was to promote tourism in France.
In this picture there is a cyclist which is trying to convey tour of France.
The Apple logo is derived from the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible.
The bitten apple represents the fruit from the “Tree of Knowledge”.
See the two people enjoying the chips and dip.
This advertisement was launched to promote the chips through displaying
the friendship and sharing between the two person.
Toblerone originated from Bern, Switzerland.
The town is also known as “The City of Bears.
The tag line of the advertisement was “Bear in the Mountain”
This logo was created by Landor Associates. The triangle combined with the
N makes a W.
The same triangle within the circle represents a compass, with the triangle
pointing in the northwest direction.
The Sony Vaio logo symbolizes the integration of analog and digital
technology.
Th “VA” forms an analog wave and “IO” represents a binary 1 and 0.
 Subliminal messages are messages (phrases and images)
that operate below the level of conscious awareness and
delivered in a way to be perceived from the subconscious
mind.
 This technology is successful because offers the capability
to interfere the “guard” of the subconscious mind, namely
the analysis and processing of the logical, conscious mind.
 Subliminal communication is strictly related to the
issue of mind control.
 The nature and working of subliminal messages and
subliminal perception as been at the centre of a long
lasting debate amongst psychologists.
 Subliminal messages and perception are linked to the
idea of mind control and the roots of this are placed
very far back in our history. Mind control is where an
individual or group of individuals can be controlled
without their awareness.
