2. ??BIG?? BIG collects and validates information on dangerous goods. Based upon this information BIG can provide SDS'es, Product Safety Cards or Labels. BIG has specialised itself in the field of classification, ecology and transport regulation. In doing so we can offer a 24 on 24 Emergency Response Service, product registration or packing & transport advice. We are also at your service to provide technical translations or specific training courses. Annually BIG releases a selection of it's database on DVD. 3. Products & Services Emergency Response 24 on 24 availability BIG is 24 on 24 on the phone in case of incidents involving dangerous substances. The information is in such cases free of charge. Subsequently BIG stores product information of individual companies in exchange for an annual fee. The company in question can then mention the BIG emergency number on all of its documents and packages. BIG is available 24 on 24 to deliver information on the company own products. 4. BIG Kaleidos Database De BIG Kaleidos database is a selection of validated data on about 20 000 substances and mixtures accessible in 13 languages. It contains over 250 properties per substance or mixture going from fysico-chemical properties, hazards and risk management measures to transport legislation, intervention measures and so much more. 5. BIG Kaleidos Database BIG has developed an application for PPC (Pocket Personal Computer) that can be used to retrieve first line information on a substance at the incident scene. 7. BIG can provide following services: Determination of the correct regulatory label as concerns contents and dimensions. This is done in compliance with EU standards and/or other existing national prescriptions. BIG performs a study of scientific literature to draw up your ‘danger label' or utilizes the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) as information source to carry out a rapid evaluation. BIG provides for the entire label draft in WORD format in one or several languages. BIG can print your label in all sizes and even in small printing numbers (price list for print jobs is available on request). BIG drafts SDS'es (Safety Data Sheets) conform the latest legislation, at this moment that means they are compliant with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH), Article 31 and Annex II, so also eSDS The Safety Data Sheets are available in several languages, according to local legislation. In regard of the new GHS/CLP Regulation BIG can already draft upon request of the client SDS'es containing the new classification and this for all countries where GHS/CLP is already implemented.
