2. This is part of the target audience research that I conducted into my magazine and
ancillary tasks preparation. Asking my peers questions like this really helped me in
what ways I should satisfy and suit my target audience telling me what I should
include and what I shouldn't include. From this I learnt that my magazine should
look bright and fun but professional at the same time with good strong images to
capture attention. The clear stores to include from my research were high-street
brands such as River Island and Topshop. I think I done well at satisfying target
audiences and customers such as the ones shown above when creating my tasks.
3. For my target audience feedback, I decided to use forms of social media again as I
believe it is a more fun and modern way to view the questions I asked and the answers
I received. I was quite pleased with this target audience feedback I received
from my peer as it is pretty all round positive. It highlighted to me some of the
stronger parts of my work but also showed me parts I could improve on. For instance, I
would like my magazine to have a bold stand out effect from first glance. I think I could
have done this by adding more colours into my house style and colour scheme, making
it stand out and catch attention. I also could have made my images
more clearer by possibly using better technology.
4. Throughout the creation of my magazine, billboard and website I was constantly receiving feedback from
my peers around me and my teacher. This really aided me during the production of my work as I was
always able to ask the people around me, who also fit into my target audience, opinions on certain
elements of my work. For example, a couple of people suggested that I changed the colour of my main
font that I used throughout the magazine, billboard and website as they thought it was too light and
didn’t really stand out as much as it should. So I changed the colour of this font to a darker colour and I
think it has made my work look a lot better and more professional. Somebody else in my target audience
suggested that I use more than one model so this is what I done for my website and I do think that it has
made my product seem more realistic instead of using the same model repeatedly. It was also suggested
that with my magazine being monthly, I could perhaps raise the price. I did not do this as I wanted to
ensure my magazine was affordable and within my target audiences price range, most of them still being
students and possibly not having an income. I also received some very helpful feedback from my teacher
showing improvements that I could make to my magazine, website and billboard which I have
tried my best to make corrections to.
