Looking back at the preliminary task what do you feel
you have learnt?

2. I think I have learnt a lot through the progression of
this project from the beginning preliminary task. I
have learnt a lot about the industry and have
researched a great deal into the different
publishing houses – something I had never even
considered looking at before.
I also feel my Adobe Photoshop skills have
improved significantly.
The end product of my preliminary task wasn’t
awful but you could tell it had been rushed and
there wasn’t much of a thought process behind it.
In comparison to my finished music magazine, I
think it is clear the time, effort and decision making
that has gone into making the magazine as
professional looking as possible.
I think my photography skills have also improved
and I have learnt how to use different props to full
effect.
