2. ï Founded by Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu and Yang Chu
ï Taoism is a Chinese philosophical school of thought
which teaches about the existence of the Tao(the path
of life; the way of nature; the natural order of the
universe; the way of heaven). Some also call it God.
ï Tao is everywhere.
ï The way of being and nonbeing; of appearance and
disappearance.
ï Ang Tao ay siyang landas ng buhay at ng
sandaigdigan.
Kahilo!
3. ï Incomprehensible
ï Formless
ï Undifferentiated
ï Eternal
ï Nameless
ï Unnameable
ï âthe Tao that can be expressed is not the eternal Tao;
the name that can be defined is not the unchanging
nameâ
ï âHigit na dakila ang Tao kaysa lahat ng bagay na
mapapangalananâ
4. ï âTao produced the One
The One produced the two,
The two produced the three;
And the three produced the ten thousand thingsâ
ï Tao begets Being, Being begets Heaven and Earth, and
the latter begets all the things in the world.

5. ï Tao is all-present and all-embracing insofar as it
pervades all things.
ï The Tao is everywhere precisely because it sustains all
existing beings.
ï Tao sustains the ten thousand things but does not
demand to call him master or lord.
ï Tao does not favor good nor evil
ï Ang pagsunod sa landasin ng Tao ay siyang
pinakamataas na layunin ng tao.
ï To be in harmony with the Tao is to be with harmony
with the eternal.
6. ï Tao is the road towards perfection, perfect balance and
perfect harmony.
ï Anyone who is a part of the Tao cannot be hurt
because he comes unconscious of pain.
ï âAnyone who attains the Tao is everlasting. Though his
body may decay, he never perishes.â
ï Tao is the center of authentic and meaningful life.
