6. Other schools are interested to be part of the “change”Leading in a culture of change (Self- Reflective Questions) Moral Purpose What are my convictions or beliefs? I believe that teacher at Interamerican School are well prepared teachers, chosen from a large group of teachers. I believe they have nice intentions to form the students. I also believe there isn’t a close leadership in the English area for High School. That for some time ago, that area has been ill-kept, trusting only in the knowledge of the teachers. I believe that there is a better way of working than the way we have today, with a leadership, goals, and methods. My intention is to take the Interamerican school, to a leader position of Positive change in Santa Ana city. I believe that through hard work we (the principal, coordinators, and I) can convert the Interamerican School in a better example of progress in Education. I will take advantage of the position of respect of good education that the School has among the other Schools in Santa Ana. How do I act on those beliefs? I compromise my self to never surrender in this journey. I determine myself to respect the authorities that are over me, and never try to take their place or jump over any order I receive from them. I promise not try to get vainglory or look for personal interest, such as power, money or reputation. I commit myself to help any other person who has this vision and tries to help our school giving fresh and better ideas through this process. Do others know what my beliefs are? No, I have never had such a clear vision of my wish toward my school, even an action plan.
