2. I would have to say that starting a business is never easy. It
sure wasn’t easy with me. As an entrepreneur I have had a
thousand crazy ideas that have failed or just stopped.
However, when I stayed the course I turned my passions into
my business. After seeing results nothing will slow you
down.
I would not be here today if I had not met some very
important people. Blake Rudis who runs a terrific company
called F64 Academy has been instrumental to my success. It
is because of people like him and my friend Eric Lafleche that
I have continuously moved forward in this career field. I
recognize the important role people like these have in your
life and because of that I want to be there for you.
Ultimately you have to find your why. The reason you want
to create your own empire and hopefully, I can help you.

4. I could sit around and talk about the Amazon FBA business
for hours. In fact, my friends and family are both sick of
hearing about it. To them, I seem like a mad man that can’t
stop rambling but the problem is I found myself always
wanting to teach them how to make money online. That is
why I developed this incredible course. I wanted to answer
the question my friends and people I ran into always had:
How does Amazon FBA work?
I even wanted to answer the age-old question: How to find
the best FBA products? Now, when I started to dive into the
massive amounts of detailed information people needed to
learn to run a successful business emphasis on SUCCESSFUL, I
realized it just wasn’t simply done in YouTube video. I needed
to show everyone in a large course that answered the, what
is Amazon FBA question.
So, Amazon FBA is a service that ships and sends items that
you private label or wholesale bulk buy and have sent
to Amazon. It provides a platform for people to search large
varieties of products and then choose whichever they want.
Think about that for a minute. Years ago say the 90’s you
would go to a store and if they didn’t have that item at your
local Wal-Mart well, you just went home empty handed or
had to settle with an inferior item.
Now Amazon and Amazon FBA has completely changed the
game. You now can be selective. If you are a customer that is
phenomenal. If you are a seller, well, now you have
competition BUT, if you follow my later blog posts you will
realize competition is good.

5. I want to teach you how to use a virtual assistant. Virtual Assistants
are incredible. Outsourcing in general kicks ass. I’m telling you right
now they help your business reach another level. I have a full time job
on top of writing blogs, putting out YouTube videos and running an
ecommerce company. Now throw an energetic one year old and a
beautiful wife on top of that into the mix. It is easy to see how life can
get way too busy for one person to handle alone.
That is why virtual assistants are complete game changers. They can
do everything you learned to do long ago. Need a listing put up on
Amazon? Virtual Assistant put it up. Need customer service
responses? Ok, Virtual Assistant communicate with our customers.
Social media marketing? Go ahead my trusty virtual assistant handle
that aspect of my business. The list goes on and on.
If you teach a virtual assistant exactly what you need them to do and
give them time to absorb it they will be one of your most valuable
assets. So, now that you have a brief overview of virtual assistants let
me explain how I’ve been using mine.
I will warn you I have had two at this point of my ecommerce career.
One didn’t work out as well as I had expected. However, as I explained
in another blog post, that was partly my fault. However, the strategy I
used would have been for both of them and moving forward I’ll
integrate more virtual assistant’s for different areas of the business.

6. It has been months since I’ve created a new blog post on my
story. I have debated on how I would continue my blog posts
because it is just a ton of work to do this. However, I know I
have a ton of information to share with the general public.
So, I am going to tell everyone about the entire process I
have been going through to make a successful business. I
want to show full transparency on the do’s and don’ts of this
business. Also, I want people to know the places I’ve failed
so, they don’t make the same mistakes as well.
It all started a couple years ago when I saw an
advertisement on selling on Amazon. The entire process
blew my mind to be honest. I had no idea you could make
money this way. I always knew people became millionaires
or what not but I really had no actionable way of even trying
to become one. Until i saw this advertisement of course.
Then a light went off in my head. I realized the potential of
an online income. It soon became clear that I had to spend
every waking moment researching this.
Now I need to warn you. I have an obsessive personality so,
when I find something I am interested in I just can’t stop
until I know everything about it. That is what happened with
E-commerce. I obsessed. It researched so much and so often
that I ignored virtually everything else in my life. I became
exhausted in my personal life, my work life and my leisure
time. I had countless sleepless nights just thinking about
how to operate a business online.

So, in the middle of 2016 I paid my virtual assistant approximately $200 a month
to maintain numerous social media accounts. He was responsible for content
creation and growth on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook. Looking
back he did an outstanding job on follower growth. Content was lacking but
everything else I was very, very satisfied with. So, much so, that when we hired
another virtual assistant to replace him we realized that great content does not
always equal massive growth.

8. I started an ecommerce company in 2016 and so, I know exactly what you need to
start a company and I will give you the basics. I am not going to sugar coat
anything for you. I will tell you exactly what is needed. I believe this is important
because if you don’t know the upfront costs then how can you make an educated
decision on you future? Hopefully, I can help with this decision through my trial
and error.
First I would like to say while I am writing this blog I do not affiliate with any of
these companies or services. In the future I do plan on providing affiliate links
because hey who works for free? But, right now I just want you all to succeed. So,
are you ready? Ok great! First and foremost you need a website for your business.
There are several options however, from personal experience I would go with
(Woo Commerce or Shopify). Both are incredible options but I will say this. Shopify
is much easier for a newbie. They have pre-formatted templates and everything is
designed with the user in mind. They do updates to protect you from outside
shenanigans and they basically allow you to throw apps and Amazon drop shipping
right up on the site with ease. Woo Commerce was designed for the more
experienced user. It is WAY more customizable. For someone like me who is used
to Elegant Themes and Divi, I like it much more.
Next you’re going to have to download Jungle Scout as soon as possible. It is
extremely difficult to do your product research without this tool. I won’t go into
large detail the link is provided for you but, it is definitely my favorite market
research tool.

9. Amazon Sales | Negotiating Lower Prices
Would you like to learn how to negotiate lower prices?
Negotiating lower prices is an art we have lost in the United
States. We just don’t do this anymore. The only times I did
this in my entire life before I got into this business was when
I bought my cars and my house. Other than those
experiences, I went to Mexico when I was 16. While in I
wanted some pocket knife they were selling and I was
specifically told to begin negotiating lower prices by one of
the senior members of our group. The Mexicans at the open
store we were shopping at were used to this process. They
had no set prices just suggested prices. So, the knife was
offered to me at 10$ and I ended up walking away with it for
around 5$. I tell you this story because I want you to apply
the exact same practice while shopping for a product.
Throughout this blog post I will discuss several ways for you
to improve your negotiations with manufacturers.
Let’s start with the opening comments. When you are
speaking with a Chinese manufacturer from Alibaba you
need to sound as professional as possible. You do not want
to divulge to them that this is your first time buying. In fact
you want them to think that you aren’t even the person
purchasing the product. When I speak with these suppliers I
tell them something along the lines of “Hi! My boss would
like me to purchase xxx knives from you. He would like me to
find your lowest price for xxx amount of pieces”.
