with a willow whip.

• Czech girls and women paint funny faces or lines
stars, crosses, squares, triangles, circles, dots, hearts
and flowers on the eggs. They give them to boys and
men on Easter Monday.
• In Moravia people pur water or perfume on their
friends.

• A rabbit, eggs, an easter lamb, a willow whip
and a typical rhyme are the symbols of Easter.
• In Czech it is ,,Hody, hody doprovody“

• The fourty - day period before Easter is called Lent
• Lent is when people stop doing things like eating
meat or chocolate.
