Hello, this ppt gives you an
account of life the different ways
in which our school is working
towards sustainability. It notifies
us how going green is functional
and its existence in very universal
thingsâŠâŠâŠ.
7. SOLID WASTE
MANAGEMENT
DELHI is one of the most densely
populated and urbanized city of
India.
And Delhi is also a commercial hub,
providing opportunities and
accelerating the pace of
urbanization resulting in a increase
in MSW

16. E- Waste management is undertaken in association
with Nokia,GIZ,iDream.The students were
explained about electronic wastes, its
environmental hazards through various workshops.
To spread awareness about the same the students
too took a rally in the near by market area and
neighborhood society .The students collected
around 60 kg of waste from all the staff and
students in the first drive itself.

premisis. After four to five days of patience the birds
were seen feeding on the grains. Students were joyed
and now the nests made by them is placed on the
keekar trees which are plenty at the adjoining smriti van.

27. Another very interesting project taken by
the school is growing vegetables
organically without using any chemicals.
Students of each class took the
responsibility of selection of crop, sowing
seeds, tending them weeding and finally
harvesting. We then had organic bazaar

35. Plastic bags and bottles, like all forms of
plastic, create significant environmental and
economic burdens. They consume growing amounts
of energy and other natural resources,
degrading the environment in numerous ways.
WE CAN DO MANY THINGS SUCH AS
Take no plastic bags from
the grocerâs shelf.
Refuse plastic bags at the
check-out counter.
39. We need to
work outâŠ
We live in a world where there are a hell of a
lot of new inputs that need to be factored in
to your business. It used to be just about your
employees and your customers. Now there are
all the issues about global warming, about
sustainability, about ethics and now about
gender and the distribution of wealth.
40. WHY GO GREEN?
There is a variety of reasons to go green, but most
come back to supply and demand. We have a
limited amount of resources available and more
and more people using them up. If we want our
future generations to enjoy the same standard of
living we've experienced, we need to take action.
For the environmentâŠ
For a healthy lifeâŠâŠ.
42. Green is God's color
Forty words:
In the twenty-first century
we welcome modern technology.
It will not fail ~ success is priority.
Natural energy is the latest rave:
solar, wind and tidal wave...
magic for sure, green power for all,
in spring, summer, winter and fall.
