What types of magazines and target audiences has IPC
                                  been associated with over the years?
IPC has been associates with magazines that specify in a particular activity or a niche audience. For example
content that is relevant to females only. Or contents aimed at people interested in a specific sport such as
cycling, football, rugby, yachting, sailing etc. Titles of these include Shoot!. Yachting Monthly, Motor
boat, Horse and Hound etc. Other titles are specifies and aimed at people interested in a particular hobby or
aspect of life such as weddings, gardening, decorating homes, etc. They are very experienced in finding out
what a specific audience want to find in a magazine.

                    Why might IPC be an appropriate publisher for a new music
                   magazine? What sorts of genres of music/types of magazines
                  might they be likely to publish? Why might alternative publishers
                                      like Bauer be appropriate?
The would be an appropriate publisher for a new music magazine such as mine as they have excessive
success in publishing magazines aimed a niche audiences with a specific genre of any kind, of any aspect of
life. They have also published one the biggest, most successful and long lasting music magazines, NME. Also
as my magazine may be exploring the indie rock genre, which IPC would have experience with due to
NME, they will have experience and knowledge of how to publish this magazines successfully.

Bauer media group would be an appropriate publisher for a new music magazine as they have had extreme success with
over seven music magazines ranging through several genres including pop and rock etc. They also have far more experience
in the music industry including television channels etc rather than just magazines. This could also provide extensive
benefits, knowledge and experience for a new music magazine.
