Bobby Croghan recommendation letters and project summaries
1. “In my relationship with Bobby, I found him to be of good and
moral character and I commend him for his professional
manner in dealing with clients, consultants and other office
personnel. I personally want to acknowledge the level of
responsibility that he assumes on all his projects.
Bobby Croghan, LEED AP O+M, SSC Consultant, Assoc. IIDA
Bobby’s creativity, professional maturity and integrity are
evident in all facets of his personal and professional life, and
it is with pleasure that I recommend him for any position he
seeks within the design field.”
(July 2009)
“Bobby is a conscientious, focused team member who takes the
extra initiative to research and participate, often on his own time,
many aspects of sustainable design--as well as to educate all of his
co-workers on all of the information he gathers. He has
contributed heavily to the effort of putting our firm at the
forefront of those involved in sustainability in the DC area.”
(Lida Lewis, Project Designer, OTJ Architects, December 2008)
“I have worked with Bobby for close to five years. He is well
organized and is a good Project Manager who works well with
consultants. He is very interested in sustainable design and
often brings new ideas and design concepts to a project. It
has been a pleasure working with him over the years.”

16. Eco-Friendly Restaurant Expo
Alexandria Health Department
Alexandria, VA
By the request of Alexandria Councilman Rob Krupicka, I
represented the Alexandria Environmental Policy Commission on
the creation of the Eco-Friendly Restaurant Expo. I assisted in
developing the content of the forum of the event, the nomination
forms for those restaurants submitting for an award, and reviewing
the submissions. It was a great first time event to pull in an
industry which tends to be left out of the green movement.

Alexandria Green Business Recognition Program
ACVA, AEDP, Alexandria Chamber, EPC
Alexandria, VA
As part of my seat on the Alexandria Environmental Policy
Commission, part of my goal was to create a city-wide accepted green
business program. Instead of starting from scratch, the formed
business committee utilized existing green certifications and provided
an acceptance of the earned certifications under one umbrella.
Working with Alexandria Economic Development Partnership,
Alexandria Convention and Visitor’s Association, and Alexandria
Chamber of Commerce, the group effort cost the city of Alexandria
$0.00 for startup and continued function of the program.
