GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) is an instructional model that promotes English language acquisition, academic achievement, and cross-cultural skills. It provides access to core curriculum through four main components: Focus/Motivation, Input, Guided Oral Practice, and Reading & Writing. These components incorporate visuals, modeling, and collaborative activities to develop students' academic language and literacy skills in an engaging way.
