RE : SCHEDULE OF INSTITUTIONAL MAKE-UP CLASSES AND REVISIONS TO THE
FIRST AND SECOND TERM, ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012 CALENDAR
Due to class suspensions attributed to inclement weather and flooding, please find below the schedule
of institutional make-up classes and revisions to the First and Second Term Academic Year 2011-2012
calendar:
Institutional Make-up Classes:

Make-up classes for sessions starting 2:40 pm 26 July (2:30 pm onwards)

Faculty members may refer to the following policies for concerns about attendance, compensation, and
make-up classes: (1) Policy on the conduct of make-up classes due to class suspension or cancellation
and (2) Policy on compensation of part-time faculty members during special holidays or when classes
are called off or shortened.

2. Note: The Registrar’s Office will be releasing the detailed 2nd Term 2011-2012 calendar indicating the
other activities.
In the event that are would be suspensions during the First Term, the academic calendar would no
longer be adjusted. Hence, faculty members are encouraged to adopt other teaching methodologies to
ensure that the course content is fully covered.
The College reserves the right to revise the Second Term calendar as needed due to special
circumstances or fortuitous events.
