11. Keeping your dark shades “cooler”
 Effect of using Xfast Black 0095 or Luconyl NG
Black instead of carbon black exhibits results as
expected, lower temperature uptake. Differences
observed up to 13°C.
 Offering: Longer color retention & increased
durability of wood and wood constructions
with respect to shrinkage, cracking, etc.
 Darker shades (higher black content) will of
course have the greater effect on heat uptake
when swapping to Xfast Black 0095 but will also
have the highest cost increase shades.
