My research is comprised of two main parts: philosophy of science and corpus linguistics.In the field of philosophy of science I work within the Idealization Theory of Science,analyzing the methodological structure of theories proposed by prominent generative andcognitive linguists: Noam Chomsky and George Lakoff. In the area of corpus linguistics,I specialize in the corpus research on Polish language. My previous corpus researchconcerned mental verbs and was based on National Corpus of Polish Language.Currently I am preparing a research concerned with the properties of spoken Polish. Theresearch will be based on the dialogue recordings and transcripts.
