1. We can find the most correct information about names and attributions of Allah in Quran. The most
satisfactory answers to the conflicts about the existence of Allah can be learned only from Islam.
There is a thought, mentioned by unbelievers everywhere for years. They say: ‘We don’t believe, in
what we don’t see’. There is no relation between this statement and scientific facts. Human, as a
limited creature couldn’t know everything, too. We can only see 5 out one million things. Rest of them,
we couldn’t recognize even. There are thousand of stars, we don’t know their location, we couldn’t see
them by telescopes. Compared to the universe our planet is small like a ball. Let our planets, we can
see only 5 out 1 million things on earth. Therefore if someone says I couldn’t see Allah this is the
greatest ignorance. Another important point is this: To be visible, something should have the opposite.
If there wouldn’t be the darkness we couldn’t see the light. But there is nothing similar or opposite to
Allah. It is impossible to see him. Furthermore, artist is not to be searched in art. If you seek the
painter in the picture or the architect in the building or the author in the book, certainly you couldn’t
find. But the greatest evidence to the existence of the author is the book itself.
Couldn’t see the author or not to be acquainted with him, does not require to deny him. Suchlike we
couldn’t see Allah, but everything he created shows him. Because nobody can do, what Allah does?
Creating is special to Allah.
Everything in this universe proves Allah, so there is no need to see him. Moreover to see Allah is not
matching with his testing us. This earth is the place of Allah’s examination. Allah tests everybody to
see they believe in him or not. Before he end of the test, answers would not be explained. If hints are
given, the difference between the hard studying and lazy could not be distinguished. In the same way,
if we have seen Allah, non-believers must have believed Allah too. So there will be no difference
between believers and non-believers. This is contrary to the justice and the test of Allah. On this issue
there is a beautiful saying of fourth khalif Ali (ra).: ‘ Even the curtain in front of the future and its
bringing would be opened, my faith would not increase. ‘ Yes, there are truths as Muslims, we believe
although we don’t see. Such as hereafter, heaven, hell, angels, and Allah as well. Ali (ra) says: ‘ My
belief would not increased if I saw the invisible truth, which is alemul gayb. Yes, he was believing Allah
as if he see Allah. It means there couldn’t be any doubt them.
Actually there are many things in what we believe, though we don’t see them. For instance, x-rays and
ultraviolet waves. Essentially world of existence is not totally composed of visible things. Moral world is
not visible but sensible. The feelings like friendship, love and brotherhood visible and touchable. Is it
possible to deny spirit, intelligence, science and ethics? We have a simple question to those, who say
I don’t believe in what I don’t see. Do you have intelligence? If yes, show it so everybody believes.
2. Being not to be able to show it you should accept, he hasn’t got it in fact. So disbelief drives, people in
such foolish cases.
There is an event mentioned in Quran related to this issue. Moses (AS) fasting for 40 days received a
good news from Allah. Allah offered him to listen. His words directly from him not by angels.
Considering this as a big opportunity this great prophet forgot that he is still on earth and asked Allah
for a great wish.
Let’s listen is from Quran:
‘ At the time fixed by us Moses came and his Rabb talked to him. Then Moses said: Oh my Rabb,
show me yourself, so I see you. Allah told him: You never ca see me. But look at that mountain over
there, if the mountain can stand, you will see me as well. The appearance of Allah collapsed the
mountain into dust, and Moses fell unconscious. After recovering he said: I fear of calling you with
imperfect attributions. Accept my repentance. I am the first of the believers.’(Al-Araf 143)
Moses wished to see Allah, because of his great love to him. Allah said: ‘It is impossible’. To convince
him Allah put the condition, if the mountain stands, he would see him. Even the mountain couldn’t
stand it so everything become clear. Thus, it is impossible to see Allah on this earth. According to
Islam scholars only Muslims will see Allah in heaven as a gift. So those who want to see him really,
have to get ready for heaven. Taking the passport, we should get the visa beforehand. The passport
for Heaven is faith. Without Faith there is no entering to heaven. Visa for heaven is the prayer,
worship, foremost salah. Without getting tired for months you could not get an American visa. To stay
in heaven forever, this preparation is not much.
Dekart buraya gelecek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summarizing, human couldn’t see everything. Moral things can be seen only with the eye of heart.
Allah couldn’t be seen on this earth, but everything shows Allah.
