As per report of ASER 2015
In Bihar, 51.5 % students among class 4 can not read the text from class 2.
In Bihar, 23.7% schools don’t have library even those have library 45.8% are not in
use.
This is only some facts… some reality is here…
Many of schools don’t have funds to support a library.
Many of library are not in use because they are not maintained properly.
Many of areas are without schools.

Patli Urbanocrats is a Trust registered under Indian Trust Act. The organizational goal
is Empowerment through Knowledge with management consultancy for business
and other basic support.
This organization has been established with mission
“Non Nascor Mihi Solum”
which means
“Not to live for self alone”
by professionals working in different region of country to work for society

Aim: To establish 10 libraries and reading centers.
Time: Feb-2015 to Aug 2015
Target:
1. approx 500 books for each library
2. Connecting children to professional world along with values
3. Increase literacy
Age group of readers: 8-15 years

In financial year 2015-16, target to setup such 50 libraries across India under similar
campaign. We already have request not only from Bihar but also from West Bengal,
Assam.
For Which We Need
Total Expected books required: 50 x 500 books = 25000 books
