2. We all know conserving water is important as our
precious fresh water is in limited supply. One
day, we might run out if we don’t use water
wisely.
Some concerns for not conserving
water…
1. No fresh water for drinking
2. No water for cleaning purposes
3. Not enough water for watering crops
3. Everybody knows that the
water which goes into
our homes come from
underground pipes. If our
land looked like the
picture above, where would we get our
water from?
4. •Water rationing in the 1960s;
•It occurred for more than 300 days per year;
•Can only get water every three to four days,
•We are very lucky that we do not have to live
in those conditions today;
•We should all be thankful that we have water.
5. About 8 million people do not
have access to clean water.
If we conserve water, there will
be more clean water for
everyone.

Start saving water today!
8. 1. Recycle water: use water from washing vegetables
and fruits to water plants;
2. Take short showers instead of baths;
3. Wash full loads of laundry in the washing machine;
4. Check the water efficiency label and
choose to buy water efficient appliances
9. Start saving more water today;
Complete the sign-up form in May;
Submit the form and latest water bill to
the school;
This water bill will be compared with the
previous record; if a significant amount of water
is saved, then you may qualify for the Water
Conservation Ambassador award.
10. If you participate, you can save
tons of water even if you just
play a small role.
