- 2. Each one of these furniture pieces are carefully chosen to perfectly fit with the rest of the house. This causes the house with this Spanish-style design looks more elegant and luxurious.

Most of the times, Spanish homes are asymmetrical in layout having arched doorways, curved roof tiles, small balconies, courtyard side entrances, stucco exterior walls and greenery all around the house in form of lush green natural gardens. To the right is a design of a Spanish home by James Glower. The decor would appear to be simple and would have lots of open spaces. The color combinations used in most of the Spanish homes are white or cream or some other light colors.
