Cover Web-based software for communication, collaboration and knowledge management within organizations. Financial Services Specialization
1. What is kbee.spaces ? Kbee.spaces is a comprehensive software and services solution for the corporate Intranet. It helps simplify the internal communication vertical and horizontally, facilitate the access to the necessary documents for daily management, enhance the work of the distributed user groups, and automatize internal processes replacing paper forms for faster and more efficient digital processes. It is a tested application, with thousands of users who create and administrate hundreds of internal portals. It offers functionality to be immediately online and grows as your company requires it. Consultancy The Intranet is a complex application that impacts on the whole organization. The kbee.spaces solution includes specific methodology, component libraries per industry and a complete interdisciplinary team with vast experience in major projects within Financial Services.
2. Summary. The Intranet as a network of Portals The Intranet is made of a network of dynamic portals with tools and contents such as news, activities, contact information of each employee, reference documents, forms, manuals and marketing material of the products, management reports, etc. Kbee.spaces includes a standard library of dozens of predefined structured content types, organized in four groups: Documents, Activities, Communications, People and Organizations. This standard library can be easily extended. Users that collaborate with content can load and edit the contents in a distributed and audited way. The publishing console allows to diagram and manage the publishing in a dynamic way without needing to program in private or public sites. Each person within the organization has its own personalized management and communication space in the Intranet. This way, the Intranet normally grows to hundreds of internal portals as the areas and groups need. The search system is another key component of the solution. It offers global and specialized browsers of high quality so that each user easily finds what they need regardless of how big and complex the Intranet is.
3. “Best Practices ” for Financial Services Libraries of components and implementation methodology that have both the knowledge and the best practices for Financial Services. Among them: Model . A model of simple structure, efficient and scalable to the hundreds of internal portals that manage the content that thousands of users produce and consume. Library of Content Types . Dozens of specific industry content types (procedures, circulars, guidelines, communiqués, etc) Site Templates per Area (Commercial Banking, HR, Foreign Trade, Systems, Legals, etc), Theme Sites (Quality, product related sites, etc), Interest Groups, sites for Project Management, etc. Browsers for each type of resource and site, with semantic recovery and optimized relevance. Templates for editorial processes (Workflow) Tools . Organization Chart, Schedule of Events, etc. Etc.

5. Loading console and editing forms The loading console is the tool that the collaborators use to create and edit contents. Each type of content has a specialized form.
6. Types of Portals ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
7. Publisher. Dynamic creation and publishing without programming The Publisher is the tool to create the sites, and manage the dynamic publishing of the content without programming. It allows to diagram the structure and navigation of the site, define menus, pages, sections, segments, and publish the contents in a direct way or by rules, such as publishing date, relevance, etc.
8. Examples of Area Sites
9. Examples of Theme Sites , Interest Groups, Work Groups
10. Customization Customization The customized services are present at all levels User -> system Access to sites and contents selected by the user System -> user Contents addressed to groups or individual users
11. Global and specialized search engines Guided Search : Browing+Searching and Searching+Browsing Searching in kbee.spaces is an interactive process between the user and the system. The user can search and then narrow the results in any order wanted according to different categories of the classification system, or even browse one or many categories of the resulting subgroup after a text search. Optimized relevance algorithm The optimized relevance algorithm adjusts to your information model, adequately considering what it finds inside the documents with the classifying information, plus the semantic recovery over the Theme Areas. For example, if you are searching Case Presentation A content whose author has the name Case and falls under the Presentation category has more relevance than another in which the word case appears inside a PDF, though several times.
12. Full-text search, specialization by content type Text Browser The text browser engine allows the search of free text inside documents. It comes with: • Optimized relevance algorithm (it considers the context information, contents of documents, classification, etc). • Retrieval by phonetic and syntactic similarity • Logical expressions: AND , OR , NOT (-), *, RELATIONS BY ASSOCIATION,-CONSECUTIVE PROXIMITY OF TWO OR MORE TERMS, etcetera. • Full-text search within dozens of file types (PDF, MS Word, Excel, ppt, HTML, etc.). • Scalability for large scale content spaces • Multi-language dictionary for “you meant ...” • It works with stemming (word root index for greater retrieval efficiency). • It is multi-language. Browsers specialized by type of resource The search forms and relevance can be specialized to each type of resource.
13. Search. Semantic Recovery The browser can show results with the correct meaning although they may not have the entered term in them, and can guide the navigation of the user by thematic suggestions. You can also take advantage of the tags and use the community’s qualifications to adjust the relevance of the results.
14. Community “2.0” Optional tools focused on the user and its interaction within the internal community, among them Clippings . It allows the user, while exploring the space of information, to mark contents that appear to be of their interest as favorites. Ratings . Each content can be rated by any user. It allows the system to present the contents in a particular manner (the better rated) and the authors of those contents can see its repercussion within the community. Tags : The user can categorize or tag contents. By tagging contents by different users, dynamic categories are formed, which reflect the true interest of the organization users community. Comments . It allows to make comments about each published content in the Intranet. Moderation per other users complaint or per previous approval from a moderator.
15. The security for your business that your contents will be available 7x24 ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
