2. Goals Brand myself as a public relations professional with experience in social media and marketing My ideal position is with a growing social media/ online marketing company with opportunities to move up.
6. My Strengths I have strong writing skills. I love to write and have strong grammar skills. I communicate well with people on a one-on-one basis. I have the ability to find out what people really want, even when they don’t. I’m completely committed to the success of the company I work for.
7. My Weaknesses I’m not the most comfortable public speaker so at times what I’m trying to convey doesn’t come out the way I want it to. I’m not the greatest sales person. I don’t like to push people into buying things.
8. My Opportunities Graduate certificate in new media and communications from Wayne State University. This will allow for more experience. I’m a fast learner, this allows me to pick up new tasks quickly.
9. My Threats Competing with thousands of other recent college graduates also searching for jobs that may have more experience. The economy, while improving, is still not great so jobs are scarce. I want to focus my search in the Ann Arbor area so that limits the number of companies that are hiring. Gas prices are limiting my job radius.
