1- Ahmed Swydan has been working in Makxalto at the position of Maintenance department head for 3 years. He
demonstrated perfect characteristics needed for this job. Ahmed is dedicated to his work making full cycle from
definition of equipment needed to industrial solution delivered to manufacturing.
He demonstrated ability to work autonomously on the complex projects, following issues until they are
resolved. At the same time he can work as reliable and active team member.
Ahmed absorbed the required skills very fast and mastered the knowledge of company’s maintenance strategy
(TPM and Lean Sigma). Within his responsibilities he translated manufacturing requirements into technical
specification and supported the technical side of every aspect of the plant activity. He participated in new
product introduction cycle and addressing the quality issues. Within Ahmed’s responsibility was productivity
control, he led the projects resulting in productivity increase by 25% (with almost zero expense). He also took
charge of the whole company’s WCE activity. The requirements of job luckily coincided with good personal
features which allowed Ahmed to be the center of company’s success in producing smart cards. I also
appreciate his easy going nature and the desire to make (and making) the good relations with colleagues and
customers.
