promotion of rotary youth exchange- for rotarian and non rotarian students

1. Basic Requirements
 Students’ birth date shall be between
1 July 1998 and 1 July 2001
means 15-18 years at the time of departure
 Students passport expiry must be after
1 January 2018 to get one year visa
If not so get it renewed before 1 march 2016.
We can issue you required letter for pre- renewal.

2.  If you are not a Rotarian family – then
Locate/decide your sponsoring rotary club.
a) through www.rotary3131.org
b) your contacts with any Rotarian.
c) our RYE team will help you.

3.  Important requirements for completing
application form.
Stage 1 – up to 1 November 2015
a) sponsoring Rotary club details, club president’s contact
details, club YEO (Youth exchange officer) contact details.
b) medical fitness certificate from family Doctor
c) character letter from your school.
d) cheque of Non refundable application fees of 10,000 for LT
and 6000 for ST exchange.

4. Stage 2 – up to 15 march 2015 ( before interview and
country selection )
e) provision of 2 additional families for hosting of inbound
student ( incoming exchange student)
f ) Undertaking from club president and all 3 host parents.
g) CBC ( criminal background check certificate of parent/s
from any practicing lawyer)
h) Pocket money and administrative fees of Rs. 41000/-

 Click on Tab “How to apply for RYE”
Follow all the given instructions.
--Select long term / short term application form .
--Download it on your computer desk top.
--Fill up the information and save it on your desktop.

-- All the matter must be type written, except dates and
signatures.

6.  Take 2 print outs of application form.
 Get all required signatures.
 Submit 1 completed hard copy with cheque to us.
 Early and neat application have marks for
interviews.
 Last date for submission -1 November 2015

7. Schedule for selection of outbounds
1 st November 2015- accepting the application forms.
15 march 2016 - stage 2 documentation .
March 2016 last week - interviews of student and parent and club officer.
- announcement of ranking.
- allotment of country as per ranking.
April 2016 - Out bound orientation program for students and parents.
May – July 2016 – invitation documents from host country district/club/family
June- July 2016 – flight ticketing , visa procedure and departure for enjoying
life in a year….
