- Tutor may provide a template as a guide (see bottom of page at http://nie-ict.pbworks.com/Pedagogical-Approaches-for-SDL-and-CL, which are given below) Tutor to decide electronic form of record beforehand Introduction Imagine that you are preparing a reference document on pedagogical approaches for the professional development of your colleagues in school. The information should be clear and concise as teachers are busy people. Each pedagogical approach should be described and illustrated in no more than the equivalent of one A4 size of paper. Remember to create links to the resources that you cite! Guiding questions What is the focus (central idea) of the approach? What is/are the theory/theories behind the approach? How might the approach be applied in your classroom? Illustrate your answer with examples. Provide one example that you found and another example that you can think of. Critiquing process What is not clear in this write-up? How does this approach seem to differ from the others?
