•This is the time when the
Dabbawallas collect theTiffin
Boxes from the respective houses
and load all theTiffin boxes in a
wooden Cart which is ready to
ship now

7. 10:35-11:20am
•This time period is actually the
journey time.The Dabbawallas
load the wooden crates filled with
Tiffin's onto the luggage or goods
compartment in the train.
Generally, they choose to occupy
the last compartment of the train.

8. 11:20-12:30pm
• At this stage, the unloading
takes place at the destination
station
•Re-arrangement ofTiffin's takes
place as per the destination area
and destination building

9. 12:30-01:15pm
• LunchTime (Please Hold on)

10. 1:15-02:00pm
• Here on begins the collection
process where the Dabbawallas
have to pick up theTiffin's from
the offices where they had
delivered almost an hour ago.

11. 2:00-02:30pm
•The group members meet for
the segregation as per the
destination suburb.

12. 2:30-04:00pm
•This is the stage where the final
sorting and dispatch takes place.
The group meets up at origin
station and they finally sort out
theTiffin's as per the origin area
