This teases the audience by giving them a rough idea of what they can expect.<br />His facial expressions make him look as if he is enjoying the fact that he is covered in blood. This highlights his psychotic and deadly characteristics.<br />The writing at the bottom is also a convention of film posters because it informs the audience with who is involved with the production. Although it is not the main focus of the film so it is placed at the bottom. I copied and pasted the logo for the rating of the film from the official BBFC website because this is what all British films use on their posters. The release date and website is highlighted so it stands out and catches attention to itself.The fonts used in the poster are kept the same so they link in which each other; leaving the poster to look well structured and organised.The white background makes him look as if he is a part of it. This was done to make him look mysterious. Moreover it makes him look psychotic and dangerous which links to his personality‘Don’t let me in’ this is supposed to captivate the audience.
