Benefits of Dynamic Product Ads
 Promote all of your website products
 Easy Management
 Reach people with ads on any device
 Show people ads for products they're interested in.
 Increase Sales by Retargeting the visitors who have visited your site already.
 Can target to only those people who have “Addtocart” the products.
Requirements
 Facebook Fan Page
 Ads Manager Account
 Business Manager Account
 Product Catalog
Important Note: If you are getting access on other email id, then make sure the account owner has
made you as a partner with the account from which you are getting access.
Setting Up Product Catalog For Ads
There are 2 different ways to run dynamic ads on Facebook.
 Shopify Store
 Upload Product Catalog Manually
Using Shopify Store
 If your website is built in shopify, then you can connect your Facebook ad account
with the shopify store.
 Facebook will automatically fetch the products from shopify store.
Don’t have Shopify Store? Still want to Run Dynamic product ads?
2nd Way
Uploading Product Catalog
If you don’t have shopify store, then you can upload a product
catalog in business manager.
 Follow different steps to create a product catalog and setting up campaign to run
dynamic product ads.
 Go to Next Slide for Step 1.
Step 1: Uploading Product Catalog
 Create a product catalog. Go to Ads Manager/ Business Manager & click on
Product Catalog.

Step 2: Uploading Product Catalog
 Below mentioned window will appear.
 Go to Product Feeds ---> Click on “+Add Product Feed”
Step 3: Uploading Product Catalog
 it’s time to create product sets.
 It is beneficial if you want to target a specific category products.
 It will help to separate the products from all the website products based on
different categories.
Step 4: Uploading Product Catalog
 Connect the product catalog with the pixel that you have installed on the website
pages.
 The ad will only run once the pixel is installed properly and linked with the product
catalog.

Step 5: Uploading Product Catalog
 If all the above steps are executed successfully without any error, then you can
proceed with the step 5. In this, you need to diagnostics the product catalog.
 click on to Diagnostics tab in the same window. There should not be any error
present in this tab.
 If an error related to “View Content” & “AddtoCart” event is shown, then there is a
problem with the pixel that is implemented. It is required to solve this issue before
proceeding to the next step.
Step 5: Uploading Product Catalog
A third event called “Purchase” may be shown as error in this. However, you can run ad without
solving this issue.

 If catalog is fine and pixel is implemented properly, then you will get this message
on your screen.
Product Catalog set up is completed here. Now
it’s time to create a new campaign.
Set Up Campaign for Dynamic Product
Ads
Step 1: Campaign Set Up
 Start Creating a New campaign via ads manager or Power Editor.
Step 2: Campaign Set Up
 Select “Promote a Product Catalog” as objective type.
Step 3: Campaign Set Up
 Select a Product Catalog that you have created. Give a Campaign Name & Click
Continue.
Important Note: If product catalog is not created successfully, then you will not find the same in this section.
Step 4: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad set)
 It’s time to select an ad set. Select a product set (that is created at the time of
product feed) & audience.
Step 5: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad set)
 Select the right audience for you. It includes different things like Custom, Lookalike
audience with Age, Gender, languages & interests.
Step 6: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad set)
 Select Budget & Ad Schedule Dates.
 Minimum budget for an ad set is $5.
 Ads based on click/impression basis. Both options are available in this objective type.
Step 7: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad)
 Now it’s time to create an ad for the campaign.
 Carousel or Single Image ad
 Ads based on click/impression basis. Both options are available in this objective type.
Step 7: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad)
 Select the Facebook Company Fan page, ad text that you want to display, website URL, “Call to
Action” button etc.
 On the right hand side, you will see the preview of your ad.
Click on “Place Order” button. Your ad will go for review. Once it is approved, it will be live.

How To Promote Product Catalog in Facebook Dynamic Ads

Benefits of Dynamic Product Ads  Promote all of your website products  Easy Management  Reach people with ads on any device  Show people ads for products they're interested in.  Increase Sales by Retargeting the visitors who have visited your site already.  Can target to only those people who have “Addtocart” the products.
  • 5. Requirements  Facebook Fan Page  Ads Manager Account  Business Manager Account  Product Catalog Important Note: If you are getting access on other email id, then make sure the account owner has made you as a partner with the account from which you are getting access.
  • 6. Setting Up Product Catalog For Ads There are 2 different ways to run dynamic ads on Facebook.  Shopify Store  Upload Product Catalog Manually
  • 7. Using Shopify Store  If your website is built in shopify, then you can connect your Facebook ad account with the shopify store.  Facebook will automatically fetch the products from shopify store. Don’t have Shopify Store? Still want to Run Dynamic product ads?
  • 8. 2nd Way Uploading Product Catalog If you don’t have shopify store, then you can upload a product catalog in business manager.  Follow different steps to create a product catalog and setting up campaign to run dynamic product ads.  Go to Next Slide for Step 1.
  • 9. Step 1: Uploading Product Catalog  Create a product catalog. Go to Ads Manager/ Business Manager & click on Product Catalog.

  • 11. Step 2: Uploading Product Catalog  Below mentioned window will appear.  Go to Product Feeds ---> Click on “+Add Product Feed”
  • 12. Step 3: Uploading Product Catalog  it’s time to create product sets.  It is beneficial if you want to target a specific category products.  It will help to separate the products from all the website products based on different categories.
  • 13. Step 4: Uploading Product Catalog  Connect the product catalog with the pixel that you have installed on the website pages.  The ad will only run once the pixel is installed properly and linked with the product catalog. Learn about “How to setup Pixel for Dynamic Ads”.
  • 14. Step 5: Uploading Product Catalog  If all the above steps are executed successfully without any error, then you can proceed with the step 5. In this, you need to diagnostics the product catalog.  click on to Diagnostics tab in the same window. There should not be any error present in this tab.  If an error related to “View Content” & “AddtoCart” event is shown, then there is a problem with the pixel that is implemented. It is required to solve this issue before proceeding to the next step.
  • 15. Step 5: Uploading Product Catalog A third event called “Purchase” may be shown as error in this. However, you can run ad without solving this issue.
  • 16. Step 5: Uploading Product Catalog  If catalog is fine and pixel is implemented properly, then you will get this message on your screen.
  • 17. Product Catalog set up is completed here. Now it’s time to create a new campaign.
  • 18. Set Up Campaign for Dynamic Product Ads
  • 19. Step 1: Campaign Set Up  Start Creating a New campaign via ads manager or Power Editor.
  • 20. Step 2: Campaign Set Up  Select “Promote a Product Catalog” as objective type.
  • 21. Step 3: Campaign Set Up  Select a Product Catalog that you have created. Give a Campaign Name & Click Continue. Important Note: If product catalog is not created successfully, then you will not find the same in this section.
  • 22. Step 4: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad set)  It’s time to select an ad set. Select a product set (that is created at the time of product feed) & audience.
  • 23. Step 5: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad set)  Select the right audience for you. It includes different things like Custom, Lookalike audience with Age, Gender, languages & interests.
  • 24. Step 6: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad set)  Select Budget & Ad Schedule Dates.  Minimum budget for an ad set is $5.  Ads based on click/impression basis. Both options are available in this objective type.
  • 25. Step 7: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad)  Now it’s time to create an ad for the campaign.  Carousel or Single Image ad  Ads based on click/impression basis. Both options are available in this objective type.
  • 26. Step 7: Campaign Set Up (Create Ad)  Select the Facebook Company Fan page, ad text that you want to display, website URL, “Call to Action” button etc.  On the right hand side, you will see the preview of your ad. Click on “Place Order” button. Your ad will go for review. Once it is approved, it will be live.
