The Dance Education Initiative aims to promote dance education in Alameda County through a 3 year action plan. In year one, it will focus on strengthening its committee and conducting a survey to identify existing dance programs. It will also launch a public education campaign. In year two, it will develop a network of dance artists, educators and providers, and promote the value of dance more widely. In year three, it will advocate for dance education among district decision-makers, continue building the dance network, and establish a leadership team to ensure the long-term vision.
