a defined region with development of a Township which includes
infrastructures such as Residential complexes, Official and Industrial Facilities
,Power and Water, Banking ,Educational Institutes, Highways and Transport
facilities and infrastructures , Healthcare, Hospitality Sectors, Retail Market, and
other subsidiary Sector.


Techno Economic Corridor :- An economic linkage between major cities or
developing region connecting various Secured Governance Hubs contributing to
primary sector and supported by subsidiary sectors which includes many
initiatives and development plans in and around the two nodal connecting
regions.

Union Budget Highlights for Tourism and
                     Industries.

             • Product/ Infrastructure Development for Destinations and Circuits
               Under Major Heads 3452,3601,3602,5452.
             • Plan Budget allocated for 562.99 Crores (Includes 93.00 for NE
               Region)
Tourism      • The objective is to provide world class tourist infrastructure facilities
               at the identified circuits, destinations and rural sites.



             • MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEMAND NO. 12 Department
               of Industrial Policy and Promotion
             • Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme under Major head 2852
               has been allocated INR 115.00 Crores formulated for accelerated and
               sustained industrial development by building upon its inherent strength.
Industrial   • Grants to Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project Implementation Trust
               under major head 2875 allocated INR 411.40 crores.
Secured Governance Under Union Budget for
                             Transport

•   In the Union Budget 2012-13, the allocation of the Ministry of Road Transport and

    Highways for the road development has been increased by 14% to INR.25,360 crore.

•   As per note for demand for Grants 2012-13, DEMAND NO. 81 under the development

    head of 13054 - Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under Investment in Public

    Enterprises allocated

    •   Budget Support of INR 11,471.98 Crores

    •   IEBR -Internal and Extra Budgetary Resources of INR 10,000 Crores

•   Under NHDP, the target of awarding road projects for the next fiscal has been increased

    to 8,800 km.

•   In order to strengthen the rural road network, the allocation towards the PMGSY has

    been increased by 20% to INR.24,000 crore for FY 13.
