This project uses mobile technology and since mobile has very large range, the project also has very large range. But finally it depends on the coverage of the mobile network.
3. Block Diagram
Voice call or video call to the cell phone, connected
with the Robot.
Frequency of keypad tones, received by the oscillator.
Frequency are converted into binary code by
IC-CM8870.
Binary codes are received by the IC-L293D.
Robot is controlled by pressing the keypad tones of the own
cell phone.
6. Purpose :
It can be used as a rescue robot
The robot can be used for reconnaissance or
surveillance. Like, if there is any hidden bomb under
any thing, it can be ensured and notified through the
robot.
The robot is small in size so can be used for spying.

7. The main advantage of that is the faster operating
speed. In SMS based controlling of Robot, you need to
send 1 sms for 1 motion. But in 1 call you can execute
multiple motions. Another advantage is that Call based
controlling is cost effective than sms based controlling.
Conventionally Wireless-controlled Robots Use Rf
Circuits, Which Have Limited Working Range, Limited
Frequency Range and Limited Control. Use of a Mobile
Phone for Robotic Control Can Overcome These
Limitations. It Provides the Advantage of Robust
Control, Working Range as Large as the Area of the
Service Provider, No Interference with Other
Controllers
8. Future Development
We can add sensors to this project.
we can enhance this project by adding these
Modules: LPG gas sensor,
temperature sensor, Wireless camera etc.
In future scope we can add a metal detector and
robotic arm. If mine is detected
then we can use robotic arm to pick it up and
place somewhere else.
