17. Her Story
Malala was a simple 11yr old girl when she blogged on about her life in the
SWAT valley under a pseudonym .
This Blog got extraordinary response and journalist Adam B. Ellick made
a New York Times documentary the following summer.
In that documentary she criticized the Talibans and said that girls too needed
education badly.
This made her the “kill her” of the Talibans.
On the afternoon of 19th of October 2012, she was shot on a school bus
while returning home.
