Consumer Web Applications obtain revenue directly from customers – such as selling goods, providing Travel Services or performing Financial transactions. Closed Web Applications are only accessible to a defined set of users, often exclusively over VPN or similar networks. The sharing of Patient Medical History between Health Care provides is a recent example.
