than an hour,or 3 or more coughingepisodesin24hours (if
youusuallyhave a cough,itmay be worse than usual)
 lossor change to your sense of smell ortaste – thismeans
you've noticedyoucannotsmell ortaste anything,orthings
smell ortaste differenttonormal
 newpersistentcoughorincreasedtemperature.

withsymptomsof COVID-19and needsdirectpersonal care.Eye
protectionshouldalsobe wornif a riskassessmentdeterminesthat
there isa risk of splashingtothe eyessuchas fromcoughing,spitting,
or vomiting.Glovesandapronsshouldbe usedwhencleaningthe areas
where a personsuspectedof havingCOVID-19hasbeen.
 Intimate care:Glovesandapronsshouldcontinue tobe usedwhen
providingintimatecare toa childor youngperson.Thiscan include
personal,hands-oncare suchas washing,toileting,orfirstaidand
certainclinical proceduressuchasassistedfeeding. Fluid-resistant
surgical masksand eye protectionshouldalsobe wornif arisk
