3. ∗ Our institution is developing a solidarity project
based on the principles of sharing and altruism. In
this context, by our students initiative, we are
developing a fundraising event with 2 activities
(to reduce dependence on a single source of income
and create synergies between the two activities):
∗ 1. solidarity walk - Organization (clubs and
projects responsible): meteorology, feel and act,
eco - schools, school radio, school library and
Erasmus+.
∗ 2. raffle tickets selling: - Organization by
Erasmus+ team.
Fundraising - organization
4. Fundraising - objectives
∗ motto:
"Feet walk, hands share, senses read nature!"
∗ General Objective:
to provide an effective contribution to equip the physiotherapy room intended for users of
the Casa do Povo (“People’s House) of Ribeira do Neiva.
∗ SMART goals:
Specific / Measurable / Assignable / Realistic / Time-related
∗ The success of these events depends on the involvement of all elements of our
community.
∗ Being a common interest, we requested the collaboration of teachers, operational
assistants, technical assistants, students and respective families to the success of these
activities.
5. The beneficiary Institution
Casa do Povo de Ribeira do Neiva:
is a private social solidarity institution that provides services in the field of social action,
promoting local development through its activities in support of the elderly (residential
structure for the elderly / home support service) and educational support to children
(free time activities).
6. ∗ The walk was scheduled for 18th
March, however, due to bad
weather conditions, was
postponed. will be held at the end
of the school year.
∗ They were enrolled 180 students,
and many parents and teachers
who also would participate.
∗ The enrolment of adults in the
walk, has a minimum value of 1
Euro, however we hope to raise
much more in this activity, with
the entry of larger monetary
values in the registration and the
sale of raffle tickets at the end.

Solidarity Walk - SWOT
8. ∗ Generally, the request for support to companies, not raise
many donations in money given that many businesses are
hesitant about giving money. However, they are usually more
willing to donate products or services. It was what we got,
the production of all raffles, a total of 2000 (10 per pack =
200 packs) was offered by Tipoprado typography, so “zero
cost” on production;
∗ The 1st prize (mini motorbike) and 2nd prize (books) where also
offered, so “zero cost” in prizes;
∗ 2000 raffles, at 1 Euro each, it means raising 2000 Euros;
∗ Deadline for selling: 20th April.
