Over 15 years of my short life have been spent on the altar
of branding and brand communication. Those years were
fertile soil for many successful exercises of brand creation,
communication campaigns, brand activation, events, and of
course – advertising campaigns.
2. MULTINATIONAL EXPERIENCE
July 2011 – Present:
Creative Director – Y&R
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Leading and motivating a mid-sized team of creatives in their hunt for
quality results.
In addition to handling the existing agency work, there’s a new
mission to help organic growth of the agency’s portfolio, as well as
landing new accounts.

o Tazaj, Luna (Evap. Milk, Cream, Milk Powder, Flavoured
Milk),

o Cadillac (Organic expansion from Aljomaih business)
- Created on-ground activation and digital activation for Aljomaih
Automotives launch for several car launches.
- Created and supervised the execution of mobile applications for
Aljomaih Automotive, two very rich interactive experiences.
- Written and organized 3 big events for AlJomaih Automotive
Company: GrandMasters 2013 (800 attendees, Qusai Khudr &
Khawater Dhalam performers, VIP invitees from the diplomatic
cycle) / GrandMastrs 2014 (more or less same level with half the
budget of 2013’s event) / Cadillac XTS Launch
- Helped resurrecting the creative department from 2 people to 8 in
18 months.
June 2009 – July 2011:

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Building & Leading a small creative department, hiring staff, building
360º campaigns and presentations.
Being of startup size, with limited resources and portfolio, and with
the vocation of being local agency with international aspiration, it was
an exciting challenge to add value in this quest.

- Encouraged the agency to go into ATL, specially TVC’s, Press

- Creative and execution for the first Social Development Forum
in Jeddah, where more than 1200 invitees, 42 international
speakers, representatives of 500 local and international NGO’s,
all signed-up for a 3 days event in Jeddah Hilton. Event was
owned by Majid Society, headed by HRH Prince Mishaal,
sponsored by HRH Prince Khalid.
- Designed and executed on-ground activation for Afia, Dove,
Dove Men, Rexona, Signal and others.
3. April 2008 − June 2009:

Acting as Creative Director, with a team of 5 Art Directors, one
copywriter and 8 designers, all sharing the pleasure of creating
winning concepts.

Heavily involved with Creative Directors and Copy Writers to
transform client challenges into impactful campaigns (print, TV,
outdoor, BTL, etc.)
I have in charge also to monitor and guide graphic designers and
artists in developing their part of the job.
Since May 2006, Creative Directors were in and out in Jeddah Office.
So practically I was the person in charge as project leader on most of
the accounts and the head of creative department (non-formally until
04/08).

Fabrication: I was in charge of communicating with Brand Instinct in
London for the design and plans of Mobily showrooms, outlets and
kiosks, and with AlHabtoor Group in Dubai for the fabrication,
material, standardization and shipping of the latter.
Many TVC scripts have been submitted with most of the campaigns,
of which Mobily, Halawa Tema, Halwani Jam, OMO treasure Hunt
promo −have been produced, and lately a 7 minutes documentary for
majid Society was shot in Beirut.

project basis; created a campaign for Sabban Furniture, BTL material
for Diet Center, and the Annual Report for IIRO (International Islamic

Formally Graphic Designer, but indeed my responsibilities were more
of an Art Director: building concepts with the Creative Director,
visualizing, development, finalization... in a studio of 7 to 8 people.
