Spitting out the same old

What makes you stand out?
5. Ask personal questions
to prompt ideas...
How do you spend
your free time?
What do you think is
cool?
Do you have a dog, cat
or exotic animal?
What offering can
educate and entertain?
Can you incorporate
other skills?

Getting Yourself Ready for the PMP Exam
For most of us who haven’t been in an academic world for the last 10,20, or
30 years, preparing for the PMP Exam can be terrifying. Sometimes you just
have to put yourself in a different place and readjust your perspective. We
do that for ourselves through travel; we recently spent some time along the
central coast of California. Here is a picture to give you the idea.
Crashing Waves - Central Coast of California
You don’t have to leave town to get an “attitude adjustment” – you can do it
through music, meditation, hiking, walking or just going someplace new in
town. To help you get started, here are some Study Tips for getting yourself
ready for the PMP Exam.

In the book creation workshops I gave over the past month at the Tempe Public Libraries, I talked about how emotional connections sell books.
Emotional connections sell all products and services, not just books
What if you came up with some marketing to connect your clients emotionally, to your services or products?
Ask ?s
Do these seem a bit odd? Good!
When you think outrageous, it only engages your clients more
It also entices them to share their experience with others.
Examples for each of these
People get emotional about travel
See how personal interests might incorporate
People get emotional about animals
People get emotional about favorite characters: TV, movies, cartoons, comics...
Tie fun theme into your work
Fun: frozen yogurt machine, tickets for prizes, smiley and happy employees
People get emotional about entertainment
Actually fun
Stereotypical employees: know-it-all, office babe, introvert, etc. dealing with real-life situations
Four examples, give a taste of emotional attachments in marketing
Worth thinking about.
