2. Introduction
Social means as interacting with customers, engage them
and intrigue for their products and gaining real time feedback
for building new brands or publicizing brands.
Mobile is used for access data anytime, anywhere. Businesses
are switching to enterprise mobility to increase productivity,
efficiency, customer satisfaction and reducing paperwork.
Analytics means uncovering customer sentiments. It uses
advanced visualization techniques to transform massive
data into actionable insights to improve customer satisfaction,
uncover hidden pattern and trends and make decisions
regarding marketing of the product. It predicts and identifies
changes and new opportunities for better decision making.
Cloud means delivery of computing services like software,
hardware machines commonly known as servers over the network.
It relies on sharing of resources including data storage space,
networks, computing power and specialized user applications.

3. Now-a-days , access to social networking sites on mobile internet is increasing
rapidly which generates large structured or unstructured data at a high rate. This
data is termed as big data. Big data is analyzed with advanced algorithms and
technologies to determine the interest of the customers. Cloud services are
helping by providing application, storage capacity and computing power in “pay as
you use” manner to the companies.
Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud (SMAC) are individual
technologies and platforms which have shown immense growth in past few years.
SMAC are now treating as integrated whole and reshaping the traditional
business model and changing the way companies relate to their employees and
customers , and bring products and services to market .
SMAC based solution, when offered and deployed as a SaaS (Software as a
service) based model, have given businesses a real opportunity to develop
innovative solutions that lead to leveraging IT infrastructure, lowering cost of
ownership and deployment , improving enterprise decision making capabilities and
increase their reach to customers and inventing new business model.

4. Trends
Social media is increasingly being used for customer engagement , brand
building and product marketing. It is because of rapidly growing users of social
networking sites.
Social Media examples are Facebook, Twitter etc.
Mobiles are becoming a useful platform that run applications for accessing social
networks, business applications and specific applications.
Mobile service examples are Apple, Samsung etc.
Large data at a very high rate in many formats are generating daily from social
media. This data is called Big Data and it is managing , storing and analyzing for
better understanding of customer sentiments.
Big data companies are MU Sigma, Opera Solutions etc.
Many cloud providers are providing private or public or hybrid cloud services that
share resources and computing power for storing and managing data.
Cloud Service examples are Google Play Store, Amazon EC2 etc.

5. Social media is an important resource of marketing of products now. Companies
are moving to social networks for publicizing their products due to the growth of
social network users. It could make a big impact because the whole market is
diverting into online stores and these stores have great opportunities for growth
by marketing on social networks. It is reducing the cost of marketing and
providing an easy approach to reach to the customers.
Due to the rapid increment in users of social networking sites, the big data have
been produced daily. The management and analyzing of big data play an
important key role for establishing relationship between customer and business
by understanding the customer sentiments and using the analyzed information
for making products according to the customer interests. This will need expertise
person .
The above two trends are gonna make big impact in next five years on the whole
market and economy.

6. Interest Area
From the above topic, I would like to
work on Analytics of Big Data or Cloud
Computing. Both are the interesting
and challenging topics.
I would like to innovate in handling
ways of Big data in such a manner
that if it is analyzed carefully, denial of
service attack can be controlled and
requests are filtered for authorized
accounts.
I would like to work on the handling
and analyzing data to provide security
to social networking sites.
