Rainbow Eucalyptus: A Sims 3 DITFT, Chapter 1
1.
2. A great and strong tree that can weather any storm still starts with one tiny little seed.
Or in this case, one founder who wanted to begin a legacy that will last generations;
sixteen generations to be specific. Where else would one begin a legacy than on a small
little island…
3. Barnacle Bay, it is still a safe haven for pirates to hide their plunder from the pursuers that
hunted them across the seven seas. They settled this little oasis far from the eyes of their
pursuers, since Isla Paradiso didn’t seem like the best place to hide their pirated booty.
4. Coal Spectrum was one of those founders who wanted to leave a legacy behind after he
was finally sent to Davy Jones’ Locker. On that small piece of land he met another, Alice
GilsCarbo who had already lost her husband to those pursuers who hunted them. She had
a young daughter to raise alone but it was proving difficult to raise her and protect her
for a woman who can’t sail the seas herself to find her Tortouga.
5. Alice found a lot in common with Coal and she wasn’t about to let him get away. She
saw opportunity with him to make hers and her daughter’s life better, Coal was a sailor
but had chosen to make a home and start growing his own crops in Barnacle Bay. She did
learn that Coal had a dream of being Surrounded By Family, it meant she would give
him at least five children. It was a small price to pay for her daughter to have a better life
than becoming a pirate wench in a bar.
6. Celeste didn’t know what to think of Coal when her mother told her that they would be moving in
with him. She was a bit scared to leave the home that her father had built. Celeste was told that
moving in with Coal would mean that they wouldn’t have to eat gruel and stale bread anymore.
Coal wanted to grow vegetables and fruit, something that they could never afford before; best part
though was that Coal’s house had running water that wasn’t dirty or cold all the time. It was what
sealed the deal for Celeste.
7. Captain Celeste would have many adventures under the sea and one day when she grew
up she would be able to see some far off and exotic places where you can really go under
the sea. She heard some of the other kids talking about a place their parents had sailed
to, it was called Isla Paradiso. One day Celeste would get there herself. And her name
will become one of legend.
8. Alice had come back after selling her house and breaking the news to Celeste that they
would be moving. Coal was delighted with her new look and more than happy to see her
again. He was looking forward to meeting Celeste too and telling her about his
adventures on the high seas before settling here.
9. Coal didn’t want to wait any longer, he presented Alice with his treasured possession, a
beautiful ring he had found in the forgotten treasure trove of a noble lord he had fought
in his youth. Alice of course accepted whole-heartedly.
10. Life was going to get a lot better from here on out. Alice had found her new love and
Celeste was happy too which meant more than anything to Alice. She would finally
have a better and brighter future.
11. Of course giving Coal those five kids he wanted was part of the deal and it meant she
would be spending a lot of time at home with the babies. Coal’s farming would take some
time to produce a decent yield and in the meantime Alice could paint and finally have
money to buy the paint and canvases. Alice was Artistic and this was her chance to make
use of it.
12. Coal had some doubts that selling art to a bunch of pirates would be profitable; pirates
preferred shiny things to paintings and tapestries. Alice kept firm in her desire to paint
though, Coal wasn’t going to argue about it because she was going to give him the big
family he wanted.
13. Now that Alice had given birth to twins, Coal’s dream of having a big family had
begun. First born of the twins was Obsidian; she had Coal’s hair colour and his ears
but Alice’s eyes. She is a Brave and Disciplined little girl who likes Rap music,
Potato and Truffle Torte and the colour Spiceberry.
14. The second born twin, Onyx had his mother’s blond hair and blue eyes. He Loves the
Cold and is a Heavy Sleeper. Onyx likes Beach Party music, Firecracker Tofu,
and the colour Orange.
15. Celeste was happy to finally have her birthday, she was going to be a teenager now and she could
do a lot more. She was playing with her new friend outside when the birthday sparklies came for
her. Her new daddy was eager to have a teenager in the house because he had wanted to do some
things with her that only a teenager could do; teach her the farming trade.
16. Alice was just happy that Celeste could now help her with the twins. Alice could work on
her art which apparently had a market in Barnacle Bay despite Coal not being overly
supportive at first of it. Apparently even pirates saw value in art work.
17. Celeste: Ugh, homework and babysitting. I thought being a teenager would be
fun, not more responsibility. The toddlers are cute though even if they are
noisy.
18. Celeste: And dad wants three more of them…and that they all be close in age.
Looks like I won’t get any peace and quiet until I move out. *sigh* At least I
have school to get away from the never ending toddler parade.
19. Celeste: I need a life; hanging out with the ‘rents all the time is going to make
me older than I need to be. What is there to do in this town? We need a night
club or something around here…
20. For a first/second gen house it’s not too bad. Artwork is profitable enough to allow for a nice build.
One day this little shack will be remembered as where it all began.
All strong and mighty trees start from a single, tiny seed.
