2. EQ: what is a simile?
• A simile is a type of figurative language that
compares two different things using like or as.
• Example: Mrs.Lewis is as pretty as a rose.
• I am comparing Mrs.Lewis to a rose. ( she
really is pretty)

• 2. her eyes sparkled like diomands!!!
• 3. as busy as a bee.

in them guess what they would be???
