A nonprofit leader and a television news anchor for Fox 4 WFTX-TV in her hometown of Fort Myers, Florida, Angela Melvin presents traffic information for Southwest Florida on Fox 4 Rising, the station’s morning program. She appears every 10 minutes at the four-minute mark from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. When not on TV, Angela Melvin serves as director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, an entity she joined in 2012 after several years as a communications director on Capitol Hill. She designed the Chefs Cooking for Kids event for the organization.
