The Good Food Community is an organization that connects consumers directly with farmers to provide affordable, organic produce while promoting sustainable farming practices. Their goals are to promote healthy eating, encourage organic farming for higher returns and more fertile soil, and build relationships between consumers and farmers. Members receive a weekly basket of seasonal vegetables grown without pesticides by partner farmers, and can visit the farms to learn more about their food and the farmers. The baskets, which contain staples and seasonal specialties, cost 350 PHP for 3.5 kg and can be purchased through monthly or quarterly payment plans.
