3. To meet this criteria, I will make sure that as a group we have completed
all necessary pieces of paperwork and that they are clear and detailed.
Additionally, it is important to make sure that all of the work we complete
is done on time to the production schedule.
To do this, we will have to make sure that the pieces of paperwork
regarding target audience and similar products are researched in depth.
Also, it is essential here for the target audience to be consistent
throughout all of the pieces of paperwork (brainstorm, target audience,
treatment, BBFC Certification), so I will make sure that all members of
the group are aware of our target audience from the beginning of our
project. To show that we have identified similar successful media
products, I will complete an ‘Influences’ pieces of paperwork which
details the products similar to ours and how we can replicate some
aspects of these.
4. To meet this criteria, I will make sure that before we film anything, the
appropriate organisation has been carried out. We will have completed
Location Notes, Costume Notes, and Prop Notes before we even think
about filming so that we are sure that the correct amount of thought has
gone into creating a verisimilitude. Additionally, if necessary we will have
to complete letters to gain permission to film in certain areas. When
deciding on a time to film, we will make sure to have gotten our actors to
sign an ‘Actor Release Form’. To minimise the risk of disruption, we will
have backup actors who we will make sure can stand in for our primary
actors on the day we film.
To do this, I will make sure that the group member completing the Shot
List, Script and Storyboard knows that these pieces of work are some of
the most important and that they do it in detail. Also, when developing
our ideas, I will make sure that many drafts of each of these pieces of
paperwork are completed.
5. To meet this criteria, I will make sure that members of my group present
their paperwork in a varied and interesting format. Not only will we use
Microsoft Word, but we will also use programmes such as Bubbl.us,
Easel.ly, Powtoon, Blogger, Scribd, Photoshop and Prezi. This will ensure
that the examiner can see that we know how to use a variety of ICT when
completing our project. Additionally, when presenting the work on
Blogger, I will make sure that I choose a theme that correctly reflects the
theme of our project, yet is still shows our work clearly.
Throughout the project, this is probably one of the most important points
to stick to. As director, it is my responsibility to make sure that work is
being completed to the production schedule and to a good standard. To
show we have been organised, we will post all of the planning and
research paperwork on Blogger. Also, throughout the project, reece
pictures will be taken that show us as a group completing certain pieces of
work. Each stage we go through will be carefully planned and evaluated
to make sure our work is completed to the best possible standard.
