План – конспект уроку англійської мови у 7класі за
підручником О. Карп’юк “ENGLISH”7
Тема: «Food. Laying the table. My favourite dish»
Мета:
практична: активізувати вживання лексичних одиниць теми в
усному мовленні семикласників, практикувати учнів у зв’язному
мовленні, формувати навички вживання активної лексики,
удосконалювати практичні навички письма;
освітня: формувати навички аудіювання та читання, вміння
вживати ЛО теми в граматичних структурах, розвивати пам’ять
та логічне мислення, навички аналізу та синтезу, перевірити
вміння та навички учнів з теми;
розвиваюча: розвивати мовленневі вміння;
виховна: виховувати у школярів мотивацію до володіння
англійською мовою, уважне ставлення до свого здоров’я,
культуру мови, увагу та доброзичливе ставлення до товаришів.

Newton’s Dinner
One day a gentlemen wanted to see Sir Isaak Newton just
before dinner time. Newton was busy and worked on his study. The
visitor sat down in the dinning-room and waited for Newton. Soon
the servant brought in Newton’s dinner. It was a chicken in a
covered dish. An hour passed and Newton didn’t come. The
gentleman began to feel hungry. He lifted the cover, saw the
chicken and began to eat. Then he covered the dish and told the
servant to boil another chicken. But before the second chicken was
ready, Newton went in to have his dinner. Seeing the gentleman
Newton said: “I beg you pardon, sir, but allow me to have my
dinner first, as I am hungry”. Then he lifted the cover, but finding
the dish empty, he said: ”Oh, I remember, I had my dinner
already”.

b) Read the recipe.
 Oil the pan
 Put the flour and salt into a bowl
 Cut the butter into small pieces and mix in with the flour,
 Add some milk and mix into a dough,
 Cover it with grated cheese and mayonnaise,
 Put the dough into the oiled pan,
 Put the toppings on the dough,
 Bake for about 15 minutes in a hot oven,
 Enjoy your pizza!
c) Post – reading activity
Do you cook pizza into the pan or into the bowl?
Do you put the flour and salt into a bowl or into the pan?
Do you cover the dough with grated or chopped cheese?
Do you bake pizza or boil it?
4. Speaking
a) How do you think is pizza a healthy or unhealthy food? What
should and shouldn’t you eat to stay healthy?
b) Our pizza is ready, so let’s lay the table. Open your textbooks
on page 73 and match the words with the pictures.
c) Now speak on table manners(ex.4 at p.73)
