3. The asylum crisis in Europe.
• How can asylum procedures in Europe be improved? (shorten
the time, facilitate the procedures, overcome the Dublin
regulation).
• The new European Agenda provides a distribution of the
refugees displaced abroad - those who meet the
requirements to obtain the asylum status- and of refugees
who are already in Europe. How to improve this mechanism?
(ex. adequate the quota system to the real number, shorten
the time needed for relocation, ways to promote the
participation of all the member states, the problem of family
reunification…).
4. • Quali azioni possono servire a limitare le stragi che
avvengono nel mar Mediterraneo? (es. rispetto
all’operazione “Mare Nostrum, la attuali strategie
negli hot spot, i CIE, rilevazione forzata impronte
digitali, ecc.).
• Quali altre azioni possono contribuire ad una migliore
risposta al problema? (es. corridoi umanitari, ecc.).
5. Economic migrants and opportunities
for legal access
• What measures can be taken by the European
Union to guarantee legal access of migrants for
economic and social reasons? Are there any good
practices? How to improve the system of working
and study visa?
• How to prevent clandestinity? How to make
vulnerable migrants visible and legalize the high
number of illegal migrants who are already living
in the Eu?
6. The cooperation with third
countries
• How can international cooperation policies
contribute to face the migration crisis? What
doesn’t work? What improvements?
• How can European institutions and transnational
organisms reduce the impact of multinational
companies on the environmental, economic and
social crisis?
• How can a common European strategy positively
affect the economic and social differences often
responsible for the migration emergency?
