and Technological Research (TISTR), an organization under Ministry of Sciences and Technology of Thailand
(MOST). This Laboratory was established through the Thai and German Government cooperation project.
Since its establishment, SCDA has served as the first national neutral laboratory in offering comprehensive
services and consultancies in the field of engineering materials, fatigue and durability of components to
national and international industries.
WHAT WE DO:
Within the framework of the Thai‐German cooperation, knowledge and experiences in advanced technologies
have been transferred to SCDA staffs through several training programs held in many renowned testing
laboratories in Germany such as TUV, Audi, BMW etc. Through the expertise and in‐depth Knowledge in
advanced technologies gained from many renowned testing laboratories in Germany, SCDA has built up a
strong reputation over a decade in providing professional services and consultancies to a number of industries

By building up its own capacity and
reinforcing extensive experiences with
comprehensive understanding in physical
test range from general material
properties to sophisticated life time
simulation test of components and
structures, SCDA has geared towards being
the first laboratory in Thailand to offer
complete end‐to‐end R&D services by
integrating CAD/CAE software in building
virtual prototype,
validating the FEM
design, and verifying the
prototype with physical
test. SCDA also provides
assistance to customers
in designing of experiments and construction of special test apparatus tailored to specific test requirements.
QUALITY SYSTEM AND ACCREDITATIONS:
SCDA/MPAD realizes the
importance of accuracy,
validity and consistency of test
result.
We apply professional practice
to obtain accurate result for
customers. Highly skilled staffs
involve in the entire testing
process starting from
discussion of test
requirements to finalizing the
complicated results.
MPAD/TISTR operated their
management under ISO 9001:
2008 quality management
system.
MPAD obtained ISO/IEC
17025 accreditation from Thai
Industrial Standards Institute
(TISI), a national certification
body of Thailand (APLAC and
ILAC MRAs). The scope of
accreditation encompasses mechanical, chemical, electrical and calibration fields. For fatigue test,
SCDA/MPAD is the first laboratory in Thailand who attains this accreditation.

“We are professional in Vibration, Fatigue and Durability”
Being widely accepted as highly skilled and expert
in mechanical test, most of SCDA/MPAD staffs
joined TISI as technical experts and ISO/IEC
assessors for national laboratory accreditation
program. We also supported TISI to establish a
national practice for mechanical test and guideline
for uncertainty of measurement in mechanical
testing.
SCDA fully realizes the importance of human
resource, skill development and building experty.
Apart from laboratory services, SCDA is also active
