  1. Moderator introduction of Finance session: Anaplan became the “one stop shop” for FP&A at Capco after they successfully deployed their forecasting model in 2014. Since then, Capco has been utilizing Anaplan for budgeting, sales pipeline tracking, project performance tracking, and a host of other financial reports. Chanjala Shangari of Capco will explain how Anaplan helped transform reporting and analytics at Capco, eliminated Excel spreadsheets, and improved field engagement and cycle times

Moderator introduction and welcome to Capco: Chanjala Shangari has worked at Capco since 2006 and is currently the Director of the Financial Reporting and Analysis function.  She is responsible for designing, building and maintaining complex reporting models and developing standardized processes leading to operational efficiencies.  Chanjala owns the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes - defining deliverables, challenging assumptions and providing analysis to support strategy discussions and key management decisions. She led the implementation of Anaplan at Capco and now manages the team that supports the use of the tool within the business

  4. Moderator question: Chanjala, Capco has been on the Anaplan platform since 2013. Please walk us through your journey with Anaplan and how business buy-in was critical for Anaplan expansion at Capco. Capco reply: Capco began evaluating Anaplan in 2011. Capco uses Oracle PeopleSoft as our ERP. In 2013, Capco migrated to Anaplan for our Contribution P&Ls for FP&A. This successful deployment helped us to get more business buy-in. In 2014-2015, we expanded beyond contribution P&L’s to weekly revenue, project management dashboards and models, and sales pipeline.
