2. Chicago City
Chicago is the third most populous city in the
United States, after New York City and Los
Angeles with 2.7 million residents.
It also has the largest number of U.S.
highways.
Chicago was incorporated as a city
in 1837. The city has many nicknames,
which reflect the impressions and
opinions about historical and
contemporary Chicago. The best-known
include the "Windy City" and "Second
City“.

The city of Chicago has been known
by many nicknames, but it is most
recognized as the "Windy City".
Chicago is near Lake Michigan so
there’s a lot of wind in Chicago.

4. Monuments and public art
Chicago is famous for its outdoor
public art such as Benjamin
Ferguson's 1905 trust.
Replica of Daniel Chester French's Statue of the
Republic at the site of the World's Columbian
Exposition.

5. In the field of music, Chicago is known for its Chicago blues,
Chicago soul, jazz and gospel music. It’s also known as the
birthplace of the House, whose history is related to the
development and adoption of techno music. Hip- Hop scene
in Chicago is very influential , of which its greatest exponents
are artists like Kanye West and Common.

6. The Chicago Bulls are an American professional basketball team based
in Chicago, Illinois, playing in the Central Division in the National Basketball
Association (NBA). The team was founded on January 16, 1966. The Bulls play
their home games at the United Center. The Bulls saw their greatest success
during the 1990s. They are known for having one of the NBA's greatest
dynasties, winning six NBA championships between 1991 and 1998.

Chicago Fire
Chicago Fire is a football
club from Chicago. It was
founded in 1997.
The Chicago Cubs is a professional baseball
team based in Chicago. They belong to the
oldest of the two leagues constituting
Major League Baseball ( MLB). They are
famous for not winning the World Series
from 106 years ago and the National
League pennant since 1945, 69 years ago .
