Exactly what will be included in the
announcement message? Times? Rules?
Prize?
How can you make the message and
contest sound the most simple?
14. Determine timeline.
Determine deadlines.
Determine what days the contested will
be promoted.
Brainstorm creative ways to promote the
contest and include them in the timeline.
Determine when to cross promote across
all social media platforms.
15. Contest Advertising
Will additional social advertising be used?
Will this be coordinated with text message
marketing, email marketing, videos or
blogs?
16. Create Contest Graphics
Determine which graphics need to be
created. This usually requires a banner, a
like gate, and a main contest image.
Be sure to follow rules and regulations for
certain graphics. Images for Facebook
ads and cover photos can only have 20%
text.
