MANUFACTURING
Hero Hondabikesare manufacturedacrossthree globallybenchmarkedmanufacturingfacilities.
Two of these are basedat Gurgaon and Dharuherawhichare locatedinthe state of Haryana in
northernIndia.The thirdand the latestmanufacturingplantisbased atHaridwar,inthe hill state of
Uttarakhand.
TECHNOLOGY
In the 1980’s the Companypioneeredthe introductionof fuel-efficient,environmentfriendlyfour-
stroke motorcyclesinthe country.Itbecame the firstCompanyto launchthe Fuel Injection(FI)
technologyinIndianmotorcycles,withthe launchof the GlamourFIinJune 2006. Its plantsuse
worldclassequipmentandprocessesandhave become abenchmarkinleannessandproductivity.
