The block of building was built in 1988, and on
September 1 school began to work. 2013th the school
celebrate its 25th anniversary.
We have 5 curriculums – preschool, primary, high,
evening school and children with learning difficulties
programms.
The pupils who learn in our school aren’t only from
Stalbe. They are from neighbour villages- Straupe,
Raiskums, Rubene because our school is region school.
School is not just a place of education, but also
the cultural center of the region.

There are 49 teachers in school. Pupils study 3
languages – native language- Latvian and two foreign
languages English and Russian. Obligatory subjects are
mathematics, physics, chemistry, sport, musics, biology,
history of world and country, IT, visual art,
housekeeping, economics, psychology, geography and
history of culture.
In the oldest classes have alternative programms-
drawing, programming, dressmaking, military and the
economic of business.

We have floristics, choir, dancing, visual art, English,
ensamble,environmental education, wood processing,
manual training groups and sport groups- floorball,
volleyball, basketball. Our players of floorball are
champions of country.
Pupils of oldest classes take part in self- government.
School parties chiefly organize self- government.
We take part in the eco –school programm. From
2013 becide school flies the Internacional Eco school green
flag.
We take part in memorial movement for pupils’
company of Cesis who took part in freedom war 1919.
